'at Least 4' Actors 'Hiding Their Sexuality' Due to 'Homophobia' in Hollywood - Kate Winslet

 

Kate Winslet is opening up about difficulties faced by gay actors in Hollywood.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the Academy Award winner said she knows ‘at least four’ closeted actors who fear for their career if they come out.

“I cannot tell you the number of young actors I know — some well known, some starting out — who are terrified their sexuality will be revealed and that it will stand in the way of their being cast in straight roles,” she said. “Now that’s f***ed up.”

Ogechukwu Osih, popularly known for presenting ‘Metro File’ an entertainment show on Channels TV is now married.

The Edo bride, Ogechukwu Osih found love in the arms of a Yoruba groom and their wedding was indeed a beautiful occasion.

The bride’s colleague, Maupe Ogun Yusuf shared photos from the occasion on Instagram with the caption “When my Sister, colleague and friend, the one and only Ogetainment of #Metrofile a.k.a The Duchess of Abavo @ogechukwuosih finally made it known that she had found the one, true joy filled my heart and all I wanted to do was hop on the next plane to share her big day with her.

They got married in an intimate ceremony in Atlanta on March 27 after securing a wedding license in Fulton earlier.

Speaking on the decision to marry in Atlanta, Jeannie Mai said the original plan was to have the ceremony at Lake Como or the  South of France but Covid-19 happened.

“We were really looking forward to having all of our friends and family there to celebrate.”

“But we had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID. After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife. So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our immediate family and a few close friends,” The Real host said.
