 Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has stated clearly that divorce isn’t an option for her. In a recent interview, she made it clear that, though she isn’t against divorce, it isn’t an option for her, as her experience with her husband differs from others.

According to her, she has been married for over 30 years and has never fought her husband over a girl. She said her husband doesn’t disturb her, and they both trust each other. “Divorce isn’t an option for me. It doesn’t mean it isn’t an option for you. I am not against divorce. I just always believe that marriage is a very personal thing. My marriage can never be the same thing as your marriage. No two marriages are the same because no two persons are the same. The ingredients might not be the same. My husband is a very selfless person; he has no ego. I’ve been married to him for over 30 years, and we have never fought over a girl. So, I don’t have those kinds of problems. He doesn’t disturb me. If I have to go do my work, he trusts me totally, and I trust him. So, our indices might not be the same as yours”.

 Omotola had revealed some intimate details about her upbringing including how she almost went into prostitution. She recounted her childhood experience, revealing that she was close to going into prostitution to survive because of the challenges she faced at a young age. “Divorce is not an option for me.
