I’m not her only ex, we’re many!” — Gbenro Ajibade clears the air amid speculation that he was the ex referenced by Osas Ighodaro in her recent interview. The former couple got married in 2015, but their union ended in 2017.

Gbenro Ajibade said, “I’m not her only ex, we’re many,” it sounded like a quick response to online pressure. But beneath that statement is something deeper than defense—it is fatigue. Fatigue from being pulled into narratives people are eager to complete without full truth.

The situation began after Osas Ighodaro shared a past experience involving an ex, and as expected, the internet did what it does best—it guessed, assumed, concluded. Fingers pointed. Stories were formed. And once again, a private history became public speculation. Ajibade’s response was not just a denial; it was a quiet refusal to be reduced to a storyline that was never fully his.
