Simi Writes To Nigerian Parents As She Makes Special Appeal On Behalf Of Firstborns

Simi has made an appeal on behalf of firstborns.

In a post shared on X, the doting mother of one appealed to Nigerian parents and younger siblings to allow firstborn children to rest and stop frustrating them.

According to her, being a firstborn child doesn’t in any way mean that the person should carry his or her younger siblings’ burdens. She also advised firstborns to learn how to say No and set boundaries.

She wrote:

“Y’all need to let your firstborns breathe. They came first does not mean they should carry everybody’s load. Many of them don’t even like you anymore , because when you text them na so so panic attack. They’re just not allowed to say it. Let them breathe.

Also, firstborn sef learn how to say no and set boundaries. You deserve peace too.”
