According to reports, the divorce was due to protracted and bitter misunderstanding.
His wife, Helen Orisejafo who was formerly in charge of administrative duties accused her estranged husband in a WhatsApp message of wanting her dead earlier this year.
Church members who pleaded anonymity said "mama has been physically assaulting papa".
Helen has reportedly relocated to the UK with their children.
