Jane Mena, a Nigerian exotic dancer, has discussed how she dealt with trolls who kept asking her when she would become pregnant after her 2019 wedding.
Jane said this in response to a video in which the actress Toyin Abraham talked about the insensitive remarks she experienced following a miscarriage.
Toyin claims she was subjected to online bullying and encouraged to lose weight because others thought she looked older than her spouse, not realizing that she had recently miscarried.
But she added that she's grown accustomed to the criticism.
In response to the video, Jane Mena shared the steps she had taken to safeguard her mental health following her 2019 nuptials to Plies.
She claimed that in order to prevent seeing remarks about pregnancy and children, she had blocked certain phrases from her comments.
Jane, who recently welcomed her first child, wrote,
“One faithful day. I just opened my Instagram, went to settings and straight to hidden words and wrote a lot of things that when you type, only you will see them by yourself and will be flagged on my comment section.

Everyone is so “used” to it.

In a follow-up comment, she said she intentionally decided to wait for 2 years before welcoming a child with her husband.
“Omo! It wasn’t funny o. I said I will give myself 2 years in marriage before popping out kids and the next thing I’m seeing comments from the day of the marriage sef.
I’m like how can something so private be such a public topic.. A lot of persons don’t know about this “hidden words” on Instagram but it’s a relief and 90% helped a lot because left to me I don’t even open comment section of any blog at all when I see my pictures .it’s a lifestyle”
