Chance The Rapper and wife Kristen Corley are separating after 5 years
of marriage. They posted matching statements today, saying they will
continue to raise their two daughters together. Rumors of possible
trouble in paradise went crazy last year after Chance was spotted
dancing and grinding on women during carnival while not wearing his
ring. Kristen posted a statement at that time quoting a Maya Angelou
book, which said:“Most people don’t grow up. It’s too damn difficult.
What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it. They
honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they marry, the have
the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up….”
