Today, July 4, David and Victoria Beckham mark their 23rd wedding anniversary.
In a passionate Instagram tribute, Victoria referred to him as her "everything."
While noting that skeptics "thought they wouldn't last" when they got married in 1999, the designer shared a cute photo of herself beaming alongside the player during his father Ted's wedding in April.
After more than two decades of marriage, David joked that he was still "into Posh" with his wife and posted a cute flashback film of a sketch where they talked about their first encounter.
Victoria could be seen in her picture giving David a rare smile as they attended his father's wedding.
Her caption read: ‘They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last! Today we celebrate 23 years being married. David you are my everything, I love you so much!!!!’
Mere minutes later David also took to Instagram to share his own anniversary tribute, posting a throwback clip of the couple appearing in a 2001 Comic Relief sketch where they were interviewed by Ali G.
In the skit, the couple are asked how they met, with Victoria admitting they met ‘at the football.’
As Ali asked David whether he was ‘into the Spice Girls,’ he coyly replied: ‘No but I was into Posh.’
Captioning his post the former England star added: ‘No but I was into Posh… 23 years ago today Posh became Mrs Beckham , but she will always be Posh Happy Anniversary WOW 23 years & 4 beautiful kiddies.
‘I love you, we all love you @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven.’
