Only a year after their separation, Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz, her former spouse, have reconciled.

In 2022, JJC Skillz said that his marriage to Funke had failed for unspecified circumstances.

Funke declined to give any information about the causes of their breakup in spite of social media speculation.

However, the couple first connected at the 'She must be obeyed' premiere, which they both produced and directed before splitting up.

The duo was seen in the web video showing off their dance moves before they joyfully hugged.
