A married couple startled their guests by setting themselves on fire in an unusual wedding send-off.
Ambyr Bambyr and Gabe Jessop, a professional stunt couple, surprised their guests with a "Hunger Games"-style wedding ceremony.
They burst into flames as they left the reception, just like Suzanne Collins' Katniss in the blockbuster film.
"Ambyr and Gabe met on set, their wedding exit makes sparklers appear boring," Russ Powell remarked in a video filmed by one of their guests.
Instead of being showered with confetti or flower petals, the couple put on a spectacular firework extravaganza.
Before heading into the field with raging flames on their backs, they put on fire-resistant robes and suits and applied anti-burn gel.
Ambyr raises her bouquet in the air like a flower.
They run up to their helpers and kneel down to allow them to put out the fire with extinguishers.
“Our wedding send off was accomplished with a team of professionals and should not be attempted without proper training and equipment,” Ambyr wrote in her post.
People loved the idea and compared them to the characters in Hollywood movie Hunger Games.
“Okay Katniss Everdeen and Peeta,” one said and a second penned: “That was awesome, that’s a hot couple there.”
A third added: “They got baptised by fire extinguisher at the end there.”
Some were surprised their hair and skin didn’t get burned – and Russ replied to them: “They both had anti-burn gel in their hair and face, then Ambyr had a wig on top.
