Fred Amata calls out his ex-Wife Agatha for walking their daughter down the aisle while he is still ALIVE

Veteran Nollywood actor Fred Amata has publicly called out his ex-wife, Agatha, for walking their daughter Stephanie down the aisle during her recent wedding, asserting that this act was inappropriate since he is still alive.

The controversy erupted when Agatha shared photos and a video of the wedding, which showed her accompanying Stephanie as she met her Caucasian groom, Aaron. This prompted many to question why Fred was absent from such a significant moment, especially since he had previously put on a united front with Agatha at their son Oreva’s wedding last year.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Fred described Agatha's actions as an "abomination," arguing that it challenges cultural traditions. He emphasized that in Africa, and particularly in Delta state, it is not customary for a mother to walk her daughter down the aisle when the father is actively involved in her life. Fred also expressed his frustration over being kept in the dark about the wedding details, despite having given his blessing beforehand.

Reflecting on their marriage, he recounted his contributions to Agatha's career, including his role in creating the talk show "Inside-Out with Agatha," which he claims helped her achieve fame. His comments reveal the complexity of their relationship and the deep emotional impact of this family event, underscoring the tensions that can arise in blended family dynamics.
